ROBERT BAZIL

A business adviser and Welsh Government Business Service mentor with decades of experience, including Board Directorships of 2 large companies turning over just under £100M and employing about 1000 staff.  I was Service Director of BSW Heating Limited for 18 years and then Commercial Director of Swale Heating Limited for 2 years.  During my career, I have provided leadership to many Company Divisions, including Contracts, Finance, ICT, Health and Safety, Compliance, Quality, Tendering and Contract Mobilisations.  Before that, I traded commodities with the Middle East as a principal confirming house.

I have spent my career in big-business.  After becoming fully freelance in 2020, I continued to support large companies with a wide variety of assignments ranging from bid-management, Public-sector tendering, contract mobilisations, as well as Business Restructuring and Corporate turnarounds.

But my real passion is helping smaller businesses achieve their potential, particularly sole traders, micro-companies, husband and wife teams and start-ups.  It gives me enormous satisfaction to use the extensive experience and skills acquired over the years to provide hands-on support, so my clients won’t make the common mistakes that drive so many to failure.  I work with  directors and management teams to reduce stress and give them someone they can call.
